Jon L. Lucas, 49, of Louisville passed unexpectedly on May 23, 2011. He was retired in management from National City Bank and attended Northeast Christian Church. Jon was a proud member of his tribe, the Minnesota Mdewakanton Sioux.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Lucas and a sister, Karen Lucas. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Jeannie Boyer Lucas; three children, Noah, Jordan and Alex Lucas; mother, Carrie Lucas; mother in law, Shirley Daunhauer; brother in law, Dan Boyer (Susan); sister in law, Carol McGrew (Rick); sister in law, Lydia Bruner (Glenn); sister in law, Charlann Weathers (Terry); two nephews, Ryan and Luke Weathers along with eight additional nieces and nephews.
A service to honor the life of Jon will be conducted at 12NOON, Friday May 27, 2011 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home at Westport Village. Visitation will be from 4-8 on Thursday.
