He was a retired self-employed contractor and a member of the Lighthouse at Nolin Lake Baptist Church.
Mr. Beavers is survived by his wife of 35 years, Anna Beavers; four children, Tammy Beavers, Christina Hurst, Joseph Beavers and Nicholas Beavers; ten grandchildren; a brother, Gary Beavers; and a sister, Margaret Meredith.
His funeral will be on Tuesday, March 31, at noon at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitation will be Monday from 2pm until 8pm and on Tuesday from 9am until the time of service.
