Joseph Terry "Joe" Cecil, 62, of Augusta, GA, formerly of Louisville, passed away December 17, 2016. He was a former employee of Churchill Downs. He is survived by his loving companion of 33 years, Gloria Linde; stepchildren, Eric, Derick, Cris, and Robin; mother, Catherine Cook; brothers, Louie(Cheryl), Delmar(Laura), Ricky(Nancy), and Charles; and sisters, Judy Dixon and Christy Hayes(Tom). Funeral service will be 2pm Friday, December 23, 2016 at Evergreen Funeral Home with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 12pm-2pm Friday. Memorial donations can be made to the family.
