Joseph L. Heim

He is the son of George and Ardella Heim who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by brother-in-law Jerry Nowery and nephew Michael Nowery. Joe is survived by sisters Georgia Nowery and Gloria Luber; nieces Vanessa Young and Eve Nowery; nephews Joseph Luber II and Geoffrey Luber (Wendy); and great nieces Madelyn, Ellie, Samantha, and Jacqueline Luber.

Joe attended St. Agnes Grade School and graduated from Ahrens Trade High School. It was in high school when his talents in electronics and mechanics were discovered. Joe enjoyed fishing and remote control airplanes. He will be remembered and missed for his kindness and helpfulness to others, and love of his cats. The family is very grateful for the care and support from Twinbrook Assisted Living facility, Nazareth Home-Clifton and Hosparus Health Louisville.

Visitation will be held at Nazareth Home-Clifton, 2120 Payne Street, Louisville, KY 40206 on Friday, August 30, 2024, between 6:00pm and 8:30pm. A private burial will take place at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Memorial Park.
