Joseph “Jeff” Howard 62, passed away Wednesday, August 26th with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his first wife Renee Edelen Howard, parents Paul and Pearl Howard, and siblings John Young, Jerry, Julian Howard and Joan Smith.
Jeff leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 11 years Jean Howard, children Joshua Howard (Katie), Parker Howard, Ginni Byrd (Wes) and Connie Hill (Corey) and six grandchildren with one little blessing on the way. Jeff is also survived by his siblings Jean Downs, Janice Vittitow, Paul Howard Jr., Joseph C. Howard, Joyce Howard and Jane Cross.
Jeff was Catholic by faith and a family man. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and relaxing on his pontoon at the lake.
A funeral mass will be held Monday, August 31st at 10am at St. Bernard Catholic Church 7500 Tangelo Dr. with entombment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 30th from 1-7pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Rd and will resume Monday from 8:30am to 9:30am at the funeral home.
