Karen Parrish

Karen Marie Parrish, aged 63, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2024, in her hometown of Louisville, KY, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on February 23, 1961, in Louisville, Karen's life was characterized by her thoughtful nature, which she extended to everyone she encountered.

Karen was predeceased by her beloved husband Barry Parrish, her father Eddie Hicks, and leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her children, Josh Acra, Paul Acra (married to Clara), Beth Hensley (Jonathan), and Emily Linton (John); her mother, Priscilla Clarkson; siblings Lisa Henley, Kim Stout, Steve Hicks, and Tommy Hicks; and her treasured grandchildren, Colton, Wesley, Woodland, Max, Luke, Laurel, and Liam.

Karen's spirit, marked by her consideration and kindness, will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide her family, who take solace in the countless moments of joy she brought into their lives.

A visitation for Karen will be held Monday, October 28, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven.
