Katherine Marie Wilson, 77, of Louisville, passed away September 26, 2017. She was proud to have been a former resident of Highland Park and she enjoyed helping others, especially her friends at Georgetown Manor. She was a very loving and caring person who never met a stranger.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James R. Chesser; her son, James E. "Bubby" Chesser; and brothers, James Scrogham, William Scrogham, and Hubert Scrogham. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Kenny Wilson; daughters, Maggie Southern(Randy) and Stella Miller(Dennis); grandchildren, Brandy McFarland, Chrissy Kavanaugh, Mandy Sharp, Misty Ferren, Nikki Miller, and Jason Miller; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Freda Catlett and Ann Hargrove; and brother, Clyde Scrogham.
Funeral service will be 12 noon Monday, October 2, 2017 at Evergreen Funeral Home with interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 12pm-8pm Sunday. Memorial donations can be made to American Heart Association.
