Kathryn was raised in Louisville since the age of 10. She worked in finance and accounting at General Electric until her retirement, after which she owned Kathy's Shoppe off Frankfort Avenue.
Kathryn is survived by her sons: Larry Thomas “Tommy” Haynes of Louisville, and Robert Haynes (Beth) of Millersville, MD; her grandchild (Brooke Haynes); and her sister Janette Lee Beard of Jacksonville, FL.
A service to honor Kathryn will be held at 1PM Friday, June 5, 2026 at Arch L Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218 with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11-1 PM at the funeral home.
