Kathy was born on December 29, 1953 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Elmo Gibson and Thelma Banks Gibson.
Kathy was a devoted and loving wife, mom, mammaw, sister, aunt and friend. Kathy enjoyed playing cards, especially solitaire on her tablet, watching hallmark movies; and most of all she cherished every holiday spent with her family, especially Christmas time; as she would make candy bags for everyone to enjoy!
Left to cherish Kathy's memory, is her loving husband of 51 years, Vincent Meyer; children, Julie Meyer, Robert Meyer, Brian Meyer (Melissa); grandchildren, Logan Meyer (Catherine) and Bryson Meyer; her sisters, Helen Henning (Joe), Minnie Campbell and Minada Webb (Joey); and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213, with a memorial service to honor the life of Kathy to follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
