Kathy was born in Kentucky on November 22nd, 1959 to parents’ Billy Ray Embry & Linda Moore. She was a former factory worker with Carrier Carton as well as a manager of a local Arby’s. Kathy liked to gamble. She loved her grandchildren, often spending time with them for movie nights. She loved food. Kathy had a great sense of humor. She was known for her wittiness, she could often be found joking, making sure to always have a comeback. Being strong willed, Kathy fought illness for quite some time, often being stubborn. She had a huge heart filled with joy and love, a very devoted mother especially to her son.
Her parents, Billy Ray Embry & Linda Moore; husband, Marion L. “Dusty” Stone; granddaughter, Heather Elizabeth “Lizzie” Waters; son, Dustin Stone & an infant brother, precede Kathy in her passing.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Jessica Ricks; 4 – grandchildren, Richard T. Ricks, Jr., Rebecca Ricks & Skyler L. Stone; brother, Wayne Embry; many nieces, nephews & cousins; plus, a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 20th, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. in the Dignity Chapel of the Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 19th, 2022 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and then again on Thursday, January 20th, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 12:00 p.m. also at the Evergreen Funeral Home.
