

Keith Sensenbrenner, 82, passed away July 4, 2012. He was born in Leona, Wisconsin on November 10, 1929 and moved to L'Anse, Michigan as a toddler with his parents, Ralph and Winona Lenzer Sensenbrenner. Keith was a 1947 graduate of L'Anse High School and attended Michigan Technological University, graduating in 1951 with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering.
He worked for the Alaska Road Commission for 2 1/2 years and was then inducted into the Army in 1954. He was united in marriage with the former Gail Stackler in September of 1954 and they spent the next 2 years in California, Alaska and Arizona. Upon his return to L'Anse he worked for Turner Construction Company. Keith finally made his home in Louisville and worked for the Koch Corporation and retired from General Electric in 1990.
His memberships included the American Society of Civil Engineers and the St. Matthew's American Legion Post 180.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 57 years, Gail; 7 children, Michael Sensenbrenner (Beverly) of Louisville, Dennis Sensenbrenner (Susan) of West De Moines, Iowa; Tammy Sensenbrenner, JoAnn Laudeman (Bob) of Louisville, Tracy Wilhardt (Jerry) of Chandler, Arizona, Karl Sensenbrenner (Karen) of Taylorsville, Sara Hobbs (Mitch ) of Buckner; brother, Dr. Lyle Sensenbrenner (Judith) ; sister, Alice Clark (Norman); 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren; 9 step great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be conducted Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Epiphany, 914 Old Harrods Creek Road. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday in the parlor of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village.
