He has born March 27, 1932 in Greensburg, Kentucky, the son of Woodruff and Margaret (Tate) Calhoon. He was preceded in death by his daughter Kimberly Calhoon.
Kenneth was a meat cutter for Kroger for many years. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and he loved his motorcycles and cars.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara “Bonnie” Calhoon; daughter, Pam King (Tim); Grandsons, Jason Gerstorff (Leah), Jordan Gerstorff, Ryan King; great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Austin, Elle; his best friend Myrt Thomas and many other neighbors and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Kenneth’s life will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 3, 2017 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Memorial Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of customary expressions the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Kosair Charities.
