Kenny Garr

Kenneth “Kenny” Nathaniel Garr, 43, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015. He attended Trinity High School in Louisville and Lees-McRae College in North Carolina. He was employed by Ford Motor Company.

He was an avid UK fan and member of the WCN (WildcatNation.Net), a New England Patriots fan and loved following his alma mater, Trinity Shamrocks, in football. In addition to sports, he loved singing, music and concerts. But the joy of his life was being a father to his precious blond boys. He spent his time with them drawing, watching their sports activities and making them laugh.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Carrie Hazelip Garr; sons, Brady and Brennen; his parents, Don and Maureen; sister, Gwen; mother and father in-law, Jerry and Pam Hazelip; brother in-law, Dave Westerman; Grandmother, Elizabeth Lillian Hagan; Aunts: Mary Kathleen Hagan and Linda Pardieu; Uncles: Pat Hagan, John Garr, Jim Garr and Ken Garr; Nieces and nephews: David, Jessica, Jacob and Emma Westerman. He is also survived by many loving cousins and close friends.

He has “Moved On Up” and a funeral service to celebrate his life will be held Monday, July 6th, 2015 at 10:00 am in the chapel of Arch L. Heady Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, 40218. Visitation for family and friends will be from 3:00 – 8:00pm on Sunday, July 5th.
