Kurt was a 1986 graduate of Trinity High School and went on to graduate from University of Louisville. He worked as a bus driver for JCPS. Kurt was also on the Development Board of Actors Theatre and helped with the Holy Trinity Youth Group. Kurt had many passions and interests among which were his love of Theatre, Harry Potter, University of Kentucky Athletics, and dogs. He will be so greatly missed.
He is survived by his children, Dane Andrew Johnson and Erin Elizabeth Johnson; brother, Shawn T. Johnson (Karin); niece, Laci Claire Johnson; and former spouse, Mary Szwarc.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 4th, from 5-8 PM, at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road, and again on Wednesday from 12 – 1 PM. He will be laid to rest following visitation on Wednesday at Resthaven Memorial Park.
