After graduating from Seneca High School he joined the US Army Reserves, serving as Color Guard for the 100th Division. He was an owner and could always be seen at Dixie Dry Cleaners. Later he became a Kentucky Colonel and a Civil War Reenactor.
Larry will be missed by his wife of 45 years, Patsy; children, Jennifer (Jerry) Ellis, David (Natalie) and Carrissa (Sean) Canto; brother, Robert A. Bruner, Jr and five grandchildren.
A Celebration of Larry’s Life will be held at 2pm on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY. A visitation will be held Friday, February 19, 2016 from 3-8 pm at the funeral home.
