He was born to the late Calvin Sr. and Violet (Carr) Coogle. His brothers, Calvin Coogle, Jr., and Robert Coogle, preceded him in passing.
Larry was a National Guard Veteran who retired from American Air Filter after 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching sports, and bowling. Juanita and Larry had many friends and spent a lot of time dancing and playing cards at the Moose Lodge.
He survived by his wife of 48 years, Juanita Coogle, daughter, Kristy Holien (Paul), grandchildren, Kamren, Kaleb, and Kendall, brother Ray Coogle (Scherry), sister Carol Jones (Paul), and sister-in-laws, Sandra and Jane Coogle, along with many extended family and friends.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 1pm-6pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218.
A committal service will take place at 12pm on Monday October 23, 2023 inside the Last Supper Chapel Mausoleum in Resthaven Memorial Park.
