

Larry Ray Gephart, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and son, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on November 7, 1955, in Louisville, Kentucky, Larry's life was marked by his unwavering kindness, his dedication to his family, and his gentle spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Larry enjoyed spending time with his family and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Kentucky Wildcats. He enjoyed taking family vacations to the beach and tending to his backyard vegetable garden.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Robin Hagan Gephart, who stood by his side as a beacon of support and love. Together, they raised a family that was the center of Larry's world. He was a devoted father to his sons, Eric Gephart and Evan Gephart. He is survived by grandsons, Dawson Gephart, James Gephart and Blake Brown. His mother, Louise Gephart, will fondly remember her son's warm heart and the care he always showed her. He is also survived by two sisters, Connie (Brooks) Hillenbrand and Carol Crawford, several beloved nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog Max.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Roy Gephart, his son, James Ray Gephart, and his brother, James Leo Gephart, whom he missed dearly.
A visitation will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40218 on Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 3-8PM. A funeral service will follow on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 10AM in the funeral home chapel. Larry will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.
