Laurence Edward Barry III, 74, passed away Wednesday, December 09, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Chester, PA, on February 28, 1941, and he was an Army veteran. Larry was currently employed at BTM Engineering, Inc.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandsons, Sgt. USMC Cory A. Adkins and Keegan A. Adkins.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years the former, Dorothy Richardson, children, Michael Barry (Bud), Diane Fields (Terry) and Roger Keith (Brenda), Steve Adkins (Patricia), Scott Adkins (Shannon), and Jeri Long (Michael). He was Papaw to 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and a 4th to soon arrive.
A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at noon, at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Friday from 3-8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the family.
