Len was born March 20, 1945 in Jamestown, NY to Larry and Rosario Pacitti. He grew up in Toledo, Ohio and graduated from the University of Michigan, obtained a law degree from Columbia, and later in life attended Yale to study comparative religions.
He was a true Renaissance man and had many careers; he sang with Les Brown and His Band of Renown while in college, interior designer, restaurateur with his father after furthering his culinary skills in Paris and London. He put his art history degree to work giving lectures at the Smithsonian which lead to his final career with Tauck, which allowed him to see the world.
He was a wonderful man and always enjoyed being surrounded by those he loved. great cooking was his love language to all.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Al. He is survived by his husband and partner of 26 years, Ed Reed Jr. MD, and his many friends and family members.
He lead a life well lived.
