He was a retired employee of Airco Carbide Company, a member of Pond Creek Missionary Baptist Church, and a member of the Greater Louisville Bowling Association.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Hatcher.
Survivors include a daughter, Vicki White (Don); a son, Michael Hatcher (Darlene); a brother, Clifton Hatcher; a sister, Virginia Esters; a granddaughter, Leslie Sutton (Charles); and a great-granddaughter, Ryan Sutton.
His funeral service will held at 12:00 Monday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home followed by burial at Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-8 pm Sunday.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
