Leontia Catherine Randall

Leontia married the love of her life, Gregory Randall from Louisville, Kentucky, whom she met at a dance while he was in the service, on leave, in Northern Ireland in 1967. They were married for 43 years. Leonita and Greg have four children, Edwina Zettler (Jim) of Fairfield OH, Liam Randall (Katie) of Cincinnati, OH , Colin Randall of Louisville, and Morgan Randall (Jody) of Murray, KY. Leontia dedicated her life to her family, children and grandchildren. Her greatest joys were playing, reading, teaching and spending as much time as possible with her seven grandchildren. Leontia is further survived by loving sisters, a brother and many nieces and nephews in Ireland and America.

Leontia was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and School where she served as a Teacher’s Aide for many years. Her life’s passion was being surrounded by her loving family, friends and the many children with whom she shared her life.

Even after passing, Leontia continued to give herself by gifting her corneas to the Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates and offering her body to the University of Kentucky Body Bequeathal Program. We will celebrate her life with a visitation on Friday, February 21 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Arch L.Heady and Son Funeral Home located at 7410 Westport Road, Louisville. A Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Louisville, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday February 22, 2014.
