She was born and raised in Louisville, KY where she worked for Kentucky Farm Bureau for over 30 years. She met and married Edward Goff in 1968.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Edward Goff and her mother Hazel Shannon. She is survived by her sister Patricia Sacra (Steve); brothers William “Billy” Shannon (Loretta) and David Shannon (Valerie); and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and her most loyal companions, her dogs Sadie and Dudley.
A visitation will be held Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, with a funeral service in Linda’s honor beginning at 12:00 pm. Linda will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park.
