Lois Jean Humphrey

She was born to the late Eva and Milton Richardson on October 25, 1934.

Lois was a nurturing mother to all her children; she raised a wonderful family and was a woman of many skill sets'. She worked many jobs over the course of her life, but the job she loved the most was being a mother and grandmother. She was a lover of roosters and had a large collection of anything that had roosters on it. One of her favorite hobbies aside from drawing was shopping at Cracker Barrel.

Lois’s husband Reby “Boots” Humphrey; her sisters Alma Curtsinger, and Emma Harrison; her brothers, James Paul Richardson, Dub Richardson, Milton Jr. Richardson, and Herbert Richardson; as well as a daughter-in-law Terry Lynn Humphrey precede Lois in death.

Here to cherish her memory are her children Milton B. Humphrey (Marianne), David W. Humphrey, and Angie Bradley (Ricky); 5 Grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild; one sister Alice Gellhause, two sister-in-laws Alice Hickman and Evelyn Owens, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Lois will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218, followed by a funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM
