Loretta Burden Tracy

Loretta Burden Tracy, 76, passed away, July 20th at Audubon Hospital. Loretta is forever remembered as a compassionate wife, mother, sister and loyal friend. Loretta retired from Dupont Louisville Works Plant after 15 years of service. Loretta loved bingo and was a frequent visitor at Greenwood Bingo Hall and had many friends there. She loved hummingbirds and butterflies and enjoyed collecting anything related to them. Loretta was a huge animal lover and adored her pets.

Loretta is survived by her husband Larry Tracy, a son, Roger Renfrow, step children, Wayne (Christine), James (Denise) Tracy and Nancy White. Siblings, Raymond (Cilicia), Robert (Nancy), Sue Burden and Patty (Rick) Carr of Morgantown, KY and Dale (Mary) Randy (Polly) Burden of Bowling Green, KY and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Atlas and Euva Burden and brothers, Darrell and Vick Burden.

Funeral services for Mrs. Tracy will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with interment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be after 10 am on Wednesday. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Louisville Zoo’s Butterfly’n Bloom exhibit.
