He was a kind hearted man, everyone said he was the nicest man they ever met. He loved his wife and family and enjoyed spending time with all of his grandchildren. He served in the Air Force for four years and was an employee of General Electric for 30 years. He loved spending time at Rough River and the University of Kentucky Wildcats.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Janet; daughters, Pam Davis (Brian) and Karen Haines (Steve); and five grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles, and mother, Charlotte; and a sister, Norma Putt.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Arch L Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
