Louis Elmer "Pete" Bard, Sr., 84, of Louisville, passed away November 13, 2015. He was a self-employed contractor and a life member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He was an avid houseboater and ham amateur radio operator "Last Call For WA4-AUN". He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Bard; and his brother, James R. Bard. Survivors include his children, Roxanne Hunt(Donald), Candy Goodman(Dale), and Pete Bard(Patty); grandchildren, Amy(Scott), Corey(Emily), Tasha(Lyle), Kelly Jo(Tex), Eric, and Bailey; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 2pm Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Evergreen Funeral Home with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8pm Monday. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
