Mackenzie L. Conn

Mackenzie Leigh Conn, 12, of Louisville, KY passed away May 26, 2020. Mackenzie was born in Louisville in 2007. She completed the 7th grade at Thomas Jefferson Middle School. In her short time here with us, she filled her life with laughter, smiles, and friends. Her love for toddlers, babies, and pets was overflowing, and that love glowed from her whenever she was around them. She enjoyed her time learning volleyball and growing her skills and developing friendships with her teammates. She was a proud member of Girl Scouts for years, which gave her the chance to step outside her comfort zone and try new things – she loved it. She loved music, selfies, and gaming with her two brothers. She always talked about going to college wherever her sister, Lily went, and room with her. She looked up to Lily so much. Everyone that knew her mommy said she was the mini version of Christi, which was an incredible compliment. She enjoyed helping daddy cook. She went by many nicknames; Kenzie, sis, Kenz, Mac, but her brothers mostly leaned toward “annoying”.

Visitation will be 11am-7pm Tuesday, June 2 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213. The funeral service will be private on Wednesday, June 3, 2020.
