Maggie was born on May 21, 1942 in Corbin, Kentucky to the late Homer Dizney and Rose Jones Dizney.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Brian; her parents, Homer & Rose Dizney; two sons, Doug Brian & William Brian; and her siblings, Roy, Perry, Homer, Chester Dizney, Violet Willis and Louise Houze.
Left to cherish Maggie's memory is her son, Chuck Brian (Diana); grandchildren, Donald Brian (Nicole), Ashley Nicole Rutledge, Matthew Brian (Heather) & Tyler Brian (Tabetha); great-grandchildren, Luna & Aila Brian, Calvin & Maggie Jo Brian, Blake & James Brian, Kailyn & Scarlett Rutledge, Hadley Brian and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Maggie will be held Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40213, and resume on Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Maggie will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery.
