

LOUISVILLE — Marcella Fay White, née Carmon, 83, of Louisville, passed away Monday, November 17th, 2025, at Baptist Health Louisville. She was born in Whitesville KY on February 9th, 1942, to the late Richard and Orbra Carmon. She was a member of Deanefield Baptist Church in Deanefield KY. Most of her adult life was spent as a homemaker. Additionally, she was a retired daycare worker. Her last few years were spent as an integral member of the Hillview Senior Center in Hillview KY.
Marcella Fay was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Henry White, and siblings, George Wesley Carmon, Laura Elizabeth Carmon, Doris Ward, Wilma Dean Morris, Richard Carmon, Jr., Donald Carmon, Eva Mae Ratliff, Nina Howard, Fon Carmon and Melvin Douglas Carmon.
Survivors include her sons, C. Timothy White (Dianne), Jeffrey H. White and Thomas A. White (Leslie); grandson, Knox Ryder White; her sisters, Wanda Joe (Darrell) Jackson and Brenda (Larry) Vogel; sisters-in-law, Sharon Carmon and Rachel Hasch (Ted); numerous nieces and nephews; members of the Hillview Senior Center, as well as, many other friends and neighbors.
Marcella Fay enjoyed a very active social life and made friends everywhere she went. She enjoyed live music, occasional trips to both casinos and horse tracks (where she exhibited considerable luck and/or skill) and watching televised sports, especially University of Louisville events.
The funeral service will be 2:00 PM EST on Monday, November 24th, 2025, at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville KY 40213. Visitation will be Monday at the funeral home from 11:00 AM EST to 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
