Margaret was born on September 25, 1938 in CAsey Co. KY to Virgie and Edward Bottoms. She was the sixth sibling of seven and was the last sibling to grace the earth. She was a longtime employee of JC Penney Company. She helped to open the Mall St. Matthews store and the Jefferson Mall store as the accounting office manager.
Margaret is survived by her children, Douglas R. Anderson and Pamela S. Shelton (Tim). The lights of her life, granddaughters, Allison L. Shelton, Kari M. Shelton and her great grandsons, Austyn and Jeremy.
A visitation will be held from 12pm - 3pm on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd., Louisville, KY 40218.
A private burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to Alzheimers Association or Alley Cat Advocates.
