Margaret Wolner Wendling 96, passed away Saturday, Nov. 15. She was born Dec. 10, 1917 to Mary & Frank Wolner, Hamilton, OH. During WW II, she served as a secretary at Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, OH. In later years she was employed by Rike's/Shillito's/Lazarus until retiring at age 83.
She was a loving wife and mother a Catholic and a member of St. Rita, Dayton, OH & St. Paul, Englewood, OH and a member of the Dayton Catholic Women's Club.
She is preceded in death by daughter, Dorothy Wendling Brainard, sister, Mary Johnson, Brothers Frank, John, Joe, and Andy Wolner.
Survivors include daughter Susan Diebold (Alfred), grandchildren Ellen & Alexander Diebold of Louisville, KY.
There will be a graveside service at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 19th, at St. Stephens Cemetery, 1314 Greenwood Ave., Hamilton, OH 45011.
