Marita Janice Thomas Davis, 89, passed away Thursday morning, November 8th, after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy. She is survived by three sons, Terry ( Sandi ), Jamie ( Jeanie ) and Glenn ( Maxine ) and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She and Roy were active square and round dancers as well as past presidents of the Kentucky Square Dance Association and the National Square Dance Association.
Visitation will be at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, on Thursday November 15th, from Noon to 2:00 with a service immediately following. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of flowers or donations to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
