Marshall Joseph Sternberg, 71, of Louisville passed away on Monday December 30, 2019. He was born on February 9, 1948 in Louisville to the late Maurice and Margie (Corder) Sternberg. Mr. Sternberg was a retired Park Ranger for the City of Louisville. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Marshall J. Sternberg, Jr. Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Darlene Maye (Eric) and Lisa Duling (Leslie); a son, Maurice Sternberg; a brother, William Sternberg; sister, Stella Matthews; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Sternberg will be held at noon on Friday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with entombment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Thursday.
