Martha Barbara Bonneau

Bonneau, Martha Barbara, 84, of Louisville, entered into eternal rest on February 13, 2016. She was a kind, loving, caring person who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. As a young girl Martha was active in sports, playing softball, bowling and roller skating with her lifelong friend Maryann. Martha spent the early years of her life as a homemaker until her husband retired in 1980 where she worked for Dr. Forrest Kuhns and then began her career in Avon. She belonged to Audubon Park United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and she was a member of the ladies auxiliary Amvets Daniel Boone Post 1. Martha was a also a huge Mickey Mouse fan.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years John Bonneau, and siblings; Burt, Edith, Alberta, Jack, Mary, and Bobby.

Left to cherish her memory are her son; George Bonneau, niece; Barbara Whatley, and nephew; Bobby Pusey, as well as several other nieces, nephews, and loving family and friends.

Services will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home Friday, February 19, 2016 at 2pm with visitation on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 2-8pm and on Friday from 12-2pm.

In lieu of the customary forms of sympathy donations can be made in Martha’s name to the Amvets Daniel Boone Post 1.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to Alice and staff at Seneca Place and Ashliegh at Baptist East CCU for the love and care they provided to Martha.
