In the 1980s, Martha was instrumental in the success of Host Koffee Service, where her work ethic and warm personality were well-known. Her devotion extended to her spiritual life as an active member of Highview Baptist Church in Louisville and Southside Baptist Church in Princeton. Martha's faith was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through life's challenges and joys.
Martha's interests reflected her love for life and the people in it. She found joy in flower gardening, traveling, and the serenity of the beach when possible. Her home was a hub of laughter with friends and her children always looking forward to her hospitality. Throughout her life, Martha cherished the tradition of family dinners, ensuring that every evening was an opportunity for togetherness.

A visitation for Martha will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 1pm to 4pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218.
