Marvin E. Gibson, of Grand Rivers passed away on June 16, 2010 at his home. He was born on June 23, 1934 in Anderson County to the late Owen and Martha Morris Gibson. He was a small business owner and a United States Navy Veteran.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three sisters.
He is survived by his five children, Carla Ayers, Darrel Gibson, Gerald Gibson, Gale Bashan and Mary Gibson; a brother, Charles Leon Gibson; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be conducted Monday, June 21, 2010 at 12:00 Noon at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3-8 Sunday at the funeral home.
