Mary Evelyn Clark, 87, passed from this life on April 8th 2016 at Regency Nursing Home. She was born to the late Hobart Jackson and Cloa (Mudd) Jackson on July 16th, 1928 in Grayson County, KY. She was retired from Brown & Williamson and was a member of Christian Assembly Church on Stonestreet Road for 69 years. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband William Edward Clark and her precious son, Wesley Jackson Clark, 3 brothers: Floyd, James, and Bud Jackson; one sister: Anna Rose Burden. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Darlene Ratliff (Pete), two grandsons: Tim Coker (Sandra) and Brian Coker, two great-grandsons: Aaron Coker and Brayden Coker, one brother: John Jackson (Charolett); two sisters: Alice Robinson (Kenny) and Laverne Hodges (J.C.) and many beloved nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services for Mary Evelyn Clark will be held Monday, April 11th at 12noon at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. Interment will follow at Beth Haven Cemetery. Family and friends will be received for visitation Sunday, April 10th from 2-8pm at the funeral home.
