Mary Michelle (Clark) Hunter

Those who knew Michelle will remember her as soft-spoken, kind, and always thoughtful. She gave others the benefit of the doubt and never missed a chance to send a thoughtful card for holidays, birthdays, or just because. She cherished life’s simple joys: like sipping her daily coffee on the porch with her beloved dog in her lap, getting her nails done, fixing her hair—so she’d never “look like a mess”—and watching her favorite baking shows and sci-fi movies.

She will be remembered for her kindness, her quiet strength, and the way she made the world a softer, brighter place simply by being in it.

Michelle is preceded in death by her parents, John and Leona Coomes; husbands, Joseph C. Clark and Michael Hunter; father-in-law, Joseph Clark; mother-in-law, Catherine Clark; sister, Yvonne Bible; daughter-in-law, Tina Clark, and uncle, Louie Coomes.

Left to cherish Michelle’s memory are her son, Christopher Clark; granddaughter, Christina Clark; step-grandson, Justin Leasor; sister-in-law and best friend, Marcie Downey (Danny); brother-in-law, Bob Clark; and a host of extended family members and loving friends.

A memorial visitation for Michelle will be held Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10:00am-12:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow visitation directly at 12:00pm.
