

She was born in Columbus, OH, on April 29, 1932, and was preceded in death by her father, Princeton G. Hosier and her mother, Margaret (Morgan) Snowball.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Elmo M. Maxfield; sister, Lois Hanawalt Brennan and brother, Princeton Hosier Jr., of Columbus; her son, Gregory R. Loomis (Norrie), of Cincinnati, OH; stepson, W. David Maxfield (Susie),, of Louisville; stepdaughter Sheren Klenoshek (Frank) of Mechanicsburg, PA; grandson, Neil M. Loomis and granddaughter, Evelyn A. Loomis of Cincinnati; and stepgrandchildren, W. David Maxfield Jr. (deceased), Trisha Maxfield (Mark) Moran, of Louisville, Pamela Kenoshek (Stephon) Johnson and Douglas Klenoshek.
Mrs. Maxfield worked as a bookkeeper and office manager in Columbus and Louisville. She was active in Democratic Party politics in Columbus, a lifetime member of the Beechmont Women's Club and a past member of the Kentucky Humane Society of Louisville.
Visitation: Friday, May 20, 2011, 3-6 p.m. with a funeral service at 6 p.m., Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road.
