She was a native of Martin, KY, the former Mary Lou Hayes and a Catholic by faith. She was retired from JCPS and a union member of the JCTA. She was an avid golfer and a member of Wildwood Country Club.
She is survived by her husband of 60+ years, Robert "Bob" Mudd Sr.; sons, Robert "Bob" Mudd Jr. and Steven (Anna Christina) Mudd; grandchildren, John Paul, Kristin, Robert Patten and Mary Elizabeth "MiMi" Mudd; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Jacob and Charlotte Rose Mudd; and brothers, Bill (Ernestine) and Herbert Hayes (Virginia).
Her Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
