He was retired from the US Army and USPS.
Mr. McCord is survived by his wife, Dorothy McCord; children, Stan McCord (Kathy), Laura Saacke, Mark McCord, Scott McCord, Lonnie Wheeler (Kelly), Michelle Mayo (Jerry) and Sean Wheeler (Jennifer); grandchildren, Austin Saacke, Lauren McCord, Zachary McCord; 11 other grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Del Webb.
His funeral will be on Wednesday at 1:30 pm at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment to follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10am until the time of service.
