He was a retired employee of Falls City Brewery.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Mabel Sanders.
Survivors include a sister, Orbie Jean Wright; special nieces, Ruthie Mardis, Sharon Dulworth, and Janet Hare; many other special nieces and nephews; special cousin, Joyce Salmon; grandson, John Warren; great-granddaughter, Mollie Warren; sisters-in-law, Ethel Ford and Lucille Shives; special housekeeper, Lana Gentry; and his loving dog, Oreo.
His funeral service will be held at 12:00 Wednesday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Tuesday.
