Nancy A Orr

Nancy A Orr, 72, passed away on May 13, 2026. Born September 20, 1953, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Ky., Nancy will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew her. Her life was marked by a steady compassion, a loyal heart, and the quiet strength of someone truly cherished and beloved.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Orr Sr; her sons, Dennis Orr and Roy Orr Jr.; and her brothers, Richard Hood, Adam Hood, Chester Hood, and Carl Hood.

She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Orr and Angela Orr; her son, David Orr (Patricia); grandchildren, ShyAnna Orr, Dalton Orr, Faith Ann Orr, and Sommer Lee Rhodes; sisters, Mae, Barbara, Bertha; and her brother, Tommy Hood.

Visitation will be held at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services- Heady-Taylor, 3601 Taylor Blvd, on Thursday, May 21, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and again on Friday, May 22, from 10:00 am until the time of the service.

A funeral service will take place at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services- Heady-Taylor on Friday, May 22 at 12:00 pm.

Committal will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
