Nola Irene Eaton, born on June 13, 1950, in Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on October 18, 2024, in Louisville, Kentucky, where she had most recently resided. Known affectionately as Irene, she dedicated her career to helping others as a radiology technician at multiple hospitals throughout Louisville.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Foster and Marion Eaton.
Irene was a beloved sister, leaving behind her siblings Jeanette Borton (Larry), Ginny Fleenor (Jay), Edward Eaton (Judy), and Annette Hettinger, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was also a devoted companion to her Chihuahua, Zorro, who brought joy and companionship to her life.
Irene will be remembered for her kind spirit, dedication to her profession, and the love she shared with her family and pets. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 1-1:30 pm on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven. A funeral service will be conducted 1:30 pm in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
