She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Norma was an involved member of Keys Ferry Baptist Church where she and her late husband, Raymond, were custodians. She devoted much of her time to working with the youth and volunteering during vacation bible school. Norma retired from Walmart after 20+ years and loved spending time with her children, grandkids, and great-grand babies.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mildred Heller Cahill; her husband of 57 years, Raymond Bray; one brother and two sisters.
Norma is survived by her daughters, Kathy Akridge (Robert) and Kimberly Jenkins; grandchildren, Robert E. Akridge (Brittany), Corey Akridge, Casey Jenkins, and Raymond Jenkins; and great-grandchildren, Damien Jenkins, Liam Akridge, and Maisilyn Akridge
A visitation for Norma Bray will be held from 2pm-8pm on Wednesday April 30th and resume Thursday May 1st at 10am. A funeral service will be held at 2pm on May 1st. Norma will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
