

He was a retired engineer and executive, former co-owner of MW Cissell Company, currently he was Chairman Emeritus of Bison Gear and Engineering Corporation in St. Charles, IL. Norman was a registered professional engineer and holder of several patents, he was the owner of Sparkling Clean Laundry and Bunch Bellcrank Systems. He was a member of the following, First Baptist Church of Prospect, Hunting Creek Country Club, Engineers Club of Dayton, National Rifle Association, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, National Engineers Honor Society and Tau Beta Pi. Norman proudly served his country in the Navy during WWII. He received his Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and his MBA from Wright State University.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend and was known as "Dad" to many.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Bullock; sons, Larry and Michael Bullock and a grandson, Jeff Bullock.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Bettie Bullock; son, Ron Bullock (Kelly) of South Barrington, IL; Daughters, Susan Thomas, Holly Driscoll and Chealsea Allen; daughter in law, Susan Bullock Campbell; sister, Joan Anderson; step children, Martin Simonson (Missy), Robin Simonson and Robert Simonson; grandchildren, Laurel Bullock, Ella Selfridge, Jackson and Kitt Campbell and 14 other grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
His celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m Saturday, June 12, 2010 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, Westport Road. Burial will be 2:00 p.m Monday in Woodland Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio. Visitation will be from 6-8 on Friday.
In place of customary expressions of sympathy the family has requested memorial gifts to the Jeff Bullock Memorial Golf Tournament.
