She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, William L. Wooden.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, a son; William G. Wooden (Barbara), a daughter; Brenda J. Blankenship (Joe), Four Grandchildren; Kimberly, Jamie, Aaron and Troy and Eight great grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the caregivers at Hurstbourne Health and Rehab for their compassionate and loving care.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2011 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven 4400 Bardstown Rd. with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. A visitation will be held Thursday 2-8 p.m.
