Mr. Shaw was a United States Air Force Veteran. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He was custodian for Western High School.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Eula Johnson, Ruby Little, Jimmie Walston, Virginia Masterson, Isabelle Garner, Fannie Shaw and Nadine Shepherd.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Betty (Hill) Shaw; son, Kevin Shaw (Dawn); granddaughter, Paige Shaw; sisters, Jackie Dutkowski and Mary Dutkowski; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 12 pm in the chapel of Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Hwy. Visitation will be held from 1 pm until 8 pm on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 and from 10 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hosparus of Louisville in memory of Mr. Shaw.
