

Pamella Ann Wilkerson, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. She proudly served as an administrator at Bashford Manor Nursing Home for 21 years, passionately caring for those with Alzheimer's disease. Pam had a beloved Shih Tzu/Pomeranian named SheShe and she loved to cook. She owned a restaurant called "Nicole's" in Louisville. She loved her family and loved the beach so much that when she retired, she moved to Florida to live with her son, Tim, and her cousins.
Pam was born on July 15, 1944 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Harry Russell Weihe and Zella Rose Sewell Weihe. Pam was also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Wilkerson; grandson, Branden Tate; and her brother, Harry Russell Weihe, Jr.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her three sons, Phillip Hess (Sheila), Tim Hess, Scot Hess (Deedra); sister-in-law, Anita Weihe; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Pamella will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40213, followed by a celebration of Pam's life to follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Pam will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Pam's family asks that donations be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
