Patricia Ann Byrd

Byrd, Patricia A., 74, passed away April 27, 2016. Patricia was a longtime member of Highland Park First Baptist Church and enjoyed going to the boat to play video poker. She enjoyed her time working at Southern Standard Cartons and the many friends that she made while there and loved spending time with her granddaughters and great-grandchildren.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Harold D. Byrd; and mother, Nellie Mae Meighen.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Debra Phillips, Pamela Frederick (Tim), Harold R. Byrd, Christopher S. Byrd and Cathy Sneed (Chris); 7 granddaughters; 5 great-grandchildren with more to come; and many nieces and nephews, especially Robin and Karen and their families.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 12 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel. Visitation will be Friday from 11 am-8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in memory of Patricia can be made to Highland Park First Baptist Church or to the American Lung or Heart Association.
